Sourcing & Quality

A proposed process, guided by your requirements.

Start with the product, intended use and destination you have in mind. Source matching, representative samples, testing, packaging and shipment arrangements need review for each requirement.

Proposed steps, evidence before commitments. This page describes an approach for discussion. It does not establish completed trades, available stock or confirmed services.

  • Define the requirement
  • Review relevant evidence
  • Agree the next steps

From requirement to planning

A seven-step approach

These proposed steps describe what needs to be reviewed and agreed. They are not a record of completed operations or a fixed delivery schedule.

  1. Buyer requirement

Describe the product or category, intended use, quantity and unit, specifications, packaging and destination. Identify where guidance is needed.

Naming another grain or spice starts a feasibility discussion; it does not create a catalogue product.

  2. Source review

Review possible source matches against the requirement, current availability and evidence for the relevant material. Any processing needs require a separate assessment.

No supplier relationship, source location, available lot or processing capacity is confirmed by this page.

  3. Representative sample

Where agreed, discuss a sample appropriate to the material and the question being assessed. Agree how it would be selected, identified and handled.

Sample availability, quantity, costs and dispatch arrangements need confirmation. No sample is promised.

  4. Testing scope

Where agreed, define the relevant parameters, units, methods and evidence needed for the intended use and destination. Confirm any independent testing provider and costs before proceeding.

No laboratory appointment, accreditation, test result or fixed testing time is confirmed.

  5. Specification confirmation

Review the available evidence and agree which specifications apply to the proposed supply. Record the quantity, commercial terms and any unresolved conditions before a commitment.

A sample result relates to the assessed material; it does not establish every future lot or guarantee supply.

  6. Packaging planning

Discuss packaging, handling, labelling and storage needs for the product and destination. Assess suitability and availability before agreeing a configuration.

No pack size, branded pack, minimum order or packaging capability is confirmed.

  7. Shipment planning

Review destination requirements, required documents, delivery terms and transport options for the proposed supply. Confirm responsibilities, costs and timing before dispatch.

A destination or route request is not an export approval or a commitment to ship.

Evidence for the specific requirement

Quality evidence & clear responsibilities

Distinguish a proposed activity from a confirmed arrangement and evidence for a particular source, sample or supply.

Source & partner activity

Source matching and any supplier or processing activity need verification for the requirement. A partner's facility, capability or document must be identified as theirs.

Partner activity must not be presented as a Mahala-owned farm, factory or laboratory. No partner appointment or owned facility is asserted here.

Samples & testing evidence

Agree sampling and testing where needed. Review what any report covers: the material, sample identity, method, date and results relevant to the requirement.

No test report is available in this preview. An individual result is not a certification of every product or future shipment.

Certificates & documents

Approved documents pending. This space is reserved for current, approved public documents.

Future files must identify the true holder and scope, title, date or version, language, file type and size. A partner document must not imply Mahala certification.

No certification or export registration is claimed. No file is available for download here.

Packaging & logistics

Packaging feasibility & destination review

Share the requirements that affect handling and delivery. Options remain subject to product, source, destination and commercial review.

Packaging discussion

Seeds & grains
Describe quantity, packing material, handling and storage needs. A suitable configuration requires review.
Edible oils
Describe intended use, container and transport needs. Any bulk or retail packaging option requires separate confirmation.
Selected spices
Name the spice and form, along with protection, labelling and packing requirements for assessment.

Destination & delivery discussion

  • Intended use, destination country and delivery location
  • Buyer specifications and applicable destination requirements
  • Required documents, testing and evidence availability
  • Delivery terms, handling responsibilities, costs and timing

No destination approval, transport booking, route, capacity, price or dispatch date is confirmed by this page.

Discuss your sourcing & quality requirements

Describe the product, intended use, specifications and destination. Identify what is known and where guidance is needed.

Local enquiry preview only. No request is sent and no sourcing, sample, testing or delivery arrangement is made.
